ARRIVAL. After 4pm and if later than 8pm I would appreciate a call. Please let me know if you are having extra guests to stay during your visit for insurance and safety purposes.
DEPARTURE. Before 11am. Please clean the kitchen, empty the dishwasher and leave the house as you found it. There is a vacuum cleaner in the cupboard under the stairs.
DEPOSIT: 50% is requested to secure the booking, usually paid by BAC, and the balance is due 4 weeks before arrival. You will receive a reminder. If you cancel your booking, at our discretion we may refund your deposit. Repayment will largely depend on whether we have managed to re-let the accommodation by the time of your proposed booking period.
We recommend you take out holiday insurance to cover such eventualities.
ANIMALS are welcome for a charge of 10 pounds per animal per visit. They are not permitted on the furniture or upstairs. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times as there are free-range chickens. There are usually cattle on the nearby water meadows however dogs can run free under supervision.
DAMAGES. A nominal charge of 5 pounds for any broken glass, plate, mug etc.
The GARDEN is free for all at any time and is shared with the owner.
The RIVER Piddle by the Mill can be fast-flowing but wonderful for wild swimming, luging and paddling but it is tidal (a metre rise and fall every day). It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of all minors. Children should not be left unsupervised at any time.
